I’ve seen an all white turkey. Never a deer though. Some states do have laws against shooting them which I’ve never understood.

Eta: just saw the link. They aren’t that rare they should make national news. Multiple a year across the country.

I saw a small piebald buck back when I was a kid. He was probably a 6pt and we jumped him while walking. It was public land. I heard somebody killed him later that year.

We can’t kill any albino deer. Can’t even kill a piebald if it’s over 50% white I believe.

I saw a piebald doe, came in with 6 other doe, and just watched it on multiple sets, but just couldn’t do nothing but watch it, very beautiful. Very little brown on it, but it stood out at a long distance in the woods, and always thought it wouldn’t make it because of it.

Had a piebald doe on a lease I hunted a few years ago. Saw her all the time.
If you shot her, that was your arse.

They said she had been around 3 years and never seen with fawns/yearlings.
I saw her being chased by a buck over a mile from her home area, then with a yearling the next summer, but never with a yearling during that season.

Not personally but there was one around Madison parish that was known and had a nickname. Well eventually ole snowball, I think the name was grew a big rack and was shot by a neighbor. There was some unhappy feelings about snowball being shot.

I’ve never seen one on stand. Don’t really think they should be protected, but people are weird about such things.
