That ramp looks to be in really bad shape. probably a big chunk missing under the water.

Those little tires probably got stuck in a rut.

Why didn't they have the excursion pull the boat out and then switch the trailer to the Tahoe once on level ground

Well now that wouldn't have been fun to watch at all.

The guy drinking the beer handled that a lot better than I would have.

This leads me to my next question, does he call the cops and risk a dwi? Probably all parties involved were drinking.

Pay some guy at marina to pull it out and park it?

then call cops?

Considering it happened at a marina, probably private property, there is no reason to call the cops.

A call to insurance is probably all that's needed. I would imagine that video would provide all the proof needed for them to cover the claim.

Agreed. No need for cops. Just take pictures and get the guy's insurance info. It's not like he will be able to debate what happened.

Why are people so enamored with the tow strap? That had nothing to do with the dumbass not securing the trailer

one day will be spent at a boat launch with a case of beer watching these jack legs.

I spent my afternoon yesterday at Freds just watching. I was entertained.

The Pierre Part landing by the church is solid too. The locals think they own the damn launch and they will idle their boat or tie it up at the freaking ramp. Amazing the lack of awareness or consideration. I refuse to launch there anymore

Best part about owning a house on the lake. No more having to f*&k with a public boat ramp.

Oh yeah, there is a viewing deck essentially next to the dock.

I fish a big Tourney every year, and you have to get there fairly early because of the number of boats, and we really should film it. Number of ghost launches, and boat sinks cause no plugs, and boats docked close to the ramps on the bank making it hard to have any room for error when launching...Anyway, one of the worst accidents I saw, was a husband and wife team, where the husband was in the boat, and the women(assumed wife) was driving the truck. Well she backs up, and boat floats back, as he starts the motor, and waves to her to pull up. Well, one of the back trailer straps was still hooked up, and the complete boat turns sideways as she drives up the ramp, and before she realized the problem and stopped; their boat went over the top of another boat decapitating their console and electronics, and lots of damage mostly to the other boat..LOL...
