I have a Remington that my Grandfather gave to me a while ago. Have it at my parents house still, so not sure what model. Love shooting it though. Buddy has the Marlin 336S, he likes it alot. Shot it a couple times, like my old Remington better, just MHO.

I kinda like the idea of a lever action without a scope, but don't know if I could make myself deer hunt without a scope. I shot a Win 94 in .32 sp. without scope, and that was quite fun.

Winchester Model 94
All three were given to me. The two Marlin's have scopes and the Winchester does not. I enjoy shooting them.

I hate them too. Would never spend money on one. Also would never use see thru scope mounts.
