I thought I was about to get 2 cases of shotgun shells for $75.
Academy needs to hire some better internet sales people. Seems they have something similar to this happen at least once a year.

mine was charged immediately as well
If this was some employee who made a code for his padnuh or family and it got out then our orders will be cancelled and refunded. If it's a legit code that is just spreading quicker than they expected they should honor the order and just shut down future orders if need be.

usually they don't charge your card right away, and they have a CYA in the terms and conditions that they can change the price until you are charged for the item. So they would just cancel the order and that is it.

Last time around this year, they accidentally had the Curados marked at $99 online. I believe they honored it. Only time will tell.

well, as of now, I have a confirmation email 'processing' my order, a paypal email, and checking the order number, it says "submitted" at Academy's site.
