I bought this Smith and Wesson Response 9mm 16" Barrel 23-Rounds w/ Crimson Trace Tactical Light - $499.99 that was posted on 7/17/26.

That’s tempting. Looking to get a couple 2011 type and wouldn’t mind a budget and something around $2500 to 3k.

I'm not a huge AR guy, why is this the first?
Also, why not add a notch and make it a sight? Sure, maybe not the best idea but is it not better than no sight at all?

The Kimber DS Warrior is the answer. Best bang for your buck at $1000 range for a 2011.

I have two 2K11's. The stainless target is the best of the whole lot and it isnt the most expensive. right around 2k.
I just got my DS Warrior in 38Super. So far it is okay but no where near as good as the Prodigy. Not even close.
