That's insane. I have the same upper, which goes on sale for $189 routinely, and it's been flawless. PSA started pinning the gas blocks on these relatively recently, too.

Those are very good lowers at a great price. I think Stag is having trouble similar to Aero so I’m not sure how much longer they’re going to be around.

I think you can replicate the $399 deal for $410:
- HAR stealth lower ($130) LINK
- BCG & charging handle ($90) LINK
- Upper ($190): LINK

Total = $410

I just snagged that upper and their 2 stripped lower package for $290 all together. Had the CH+BCG and lower parts laying around so $240 for the build plus a spare lower for tinkering later.

Mine's been great through 500 rounds or so with a traditional suppressor. For less than $200 you get a solid nitride barrel with an A2 that should last at least 10k rounds, a good rail assembly with anti-rotation tabs and decent lockup, a staked and pinned gas block with tube, and a standard upper receiver.

People routinely pay many multiples of that price for functionally the same thing with a more premium barrel and somewhat more rigid rail assembly.

New carbine optic from Leupold

LCO PRO F2

9.6 OZ.
quote:

WITH MOTION SENSOR TECHNOLOGY (MST™) Four selectable reticles allow you to tailor the optic to your mission. Choose between a 1MOA dot, a dot with compass points, a 65MOA segmented-circle dot, or a segmented-circle dot with compass points. Your battery should also be the last thing you have to worry about in the field. That’s why the LCO Pro F2 features Motion Sensor Technology. It automatically deactivates the illumination after five minutes of inactivity, and as soon as movement is detected, the illumination instantly reactivates, keeping you in the fight for longer.
