Really stupid. Learn how to use mirrors.
The best gift that I was ever given by a shithole job working 90 hours a week in the field working production rentals was forcing me to learn how to use my mirrors.

I like it, very innovative

Think I can get one for my truck and trailer
<<<<<<<
And with this truck, there is no turning your head and looking out the back window. When using mirrors to back a trailer, always turn the wheel toward trouble.

You know how it gets confusing when you’re backing up a trailer
nah

When backing a trailer just steer with the bottom of the steering wheel. If you want the rear of the trailer to come to driver's side, move the bottom of the truck's steering wheel to the drivers' side (clockwise)...and vice versa... Easy to remember, try it!

Anybody else only able to steer using your left hand while turning your head around to look at the back? I can do it by using mirrors but it requires me to think about it, as opposed to being natural while turned around. Just the way my brain has been wired.

Proof that Ford is leading in truck innovation and technology.
Ford should spend more time on basic engineering like attaching a simple pillar handle.

I play hell when I'm backing up a friend of mines trailer without the boat on it. Its invisible behind that 3/4 ton without the tailgate down.

I would get out and let someone else back down before I was seen using that thing.

I read an article on it and it said it automatically backed the trailer up, not you steering with the knob, and also controlled the brake and gas. Have to put some type of tape strip on the trailer so the truck can reference it's orientation.

How is a tape strip on the trailer going to tell it when to stop?

Oh frick the reverse wheel, that belongs in a minivan.
I drop the tailgate and I can see it fine.

Carson got soem shite luck, man
But this is the only proper way to back up..
Elbow has to be pointing to the ground and if you require assistance from another person, there has to be a,"alright den, tell me when!", this is essential

And just in case the sissy bar and bitch step makes it too difficult to drop the tailgate by hand, you can just drop it by remote.

If my hands are too full to grab the handle they're too full to grab the key fob. I do like how the tailgate locks and unlocks with the key fob though.

It's as simple as that.
