Want to see if anyone on here has experienced this same issue. I know that when your blinker speeds up, it usually means you have a light out. My F150 is doing this occassionally on my left turn signal. I have checked and my rear blinker isn't as bright as it normally should be, but it's not happening all the time. Sometimes it works fine. Should I just change the bulb? Can't imagine it would have pulled out or has a loose connection, as there's been nothing that would have caused that.

It might be that there is 2 filaments in there one for the brake light and one for when your headlights are on. Have you checked with your headlights on? That would cause it to blink fast. Not sure about the intermittent part tho...

Or your fluids low

check your blinker fluid before you do anything.

Might not have had enough anti-freeze in it with all this weather.

One of the filaments in the bulb is about to die. Just replace the bulb.

Bulb filaments are pretty brittle so it may act a bit erratic before shitting the bed entirely.

Luckily more manufacturers are moving to LED tail lights and side markers.

Agreed. I just put LED in my 18 f150 xlt and they are much brighter and should last the life of the truck.

had that once, turned out the bulb was loose and worked normally 80% of the time.

couldnt tell until i physically removed the bulb

might be front or back but wait for it to happen then leave blinker on and pull over, hold blinker lever on if your making a turn and have to get off the road.

then walk around and see which bulb it is

I had that happen to mine. If I pushed the brakes both lights (top and bottom) would come on, but the blinker kept blinking fast. I changed the bulb and it fixed it.

My work truck is a 2014 F250 super duty with a work bed and ladder racks on the side and it blinks like that. Never been able to figure out why

Did you get the factory LED tail lights or did you drop in LED bulbs? I'd be surprised if you didn't get a hyperflashing issue with drop-in ones.

Drop in...the blinker inside hyperflashes but the actual tail lights blink normal. You can re program for LEDs with some method called FORScan. Reprogram the BCM I think. Haven’t tried that yet but it seems really cool. You can change all sorts of functions on the entire truck and add factory options you don’t have like power folding mirrors. Or you can add resistors to the bulb.

Eat a Tide Pod, and replace the bulb in question. The intermittent of it may point to a loose bulb. (the Tide Part was a joke I didn't want to use "fluids low").

Or you could just buy the truck that way from the factory and not have to worry about dumb shite like that.

If it were only an option on my trim level (XLT) I would have.
