Which would you pick?
2015 F250 platinum with 8,000 miles for 50k
2019 F250 lariat for 53k
I’m not into diesels much but I told him 8grand on a 5 year old truck could mean it sits a lot, probably only used occasionally to pull something heavy.
Both 4x4.
Platinum has 6” lift on 37s
Lariat is stock
What says the OB?

He says he’s worried about the “death wobble” in the newer 250s, which is why he was thinking about the 15. I mean, he’s driving a Ford, that’s a risk in itself Really though, I told him go for the 19 also. Wanted some expert opinions to back me up.

Of those two 19 but agree with other guy you should be able to get close to that with new one.

The 19, but work on those prices. That truck is not worth that much today.

Both Fords. Run, don’t walk. Lol

“death wobble”
Easy fix, easy to avoid, and always possible with a solid front axle.

No way I’m paying $50,000 for a 5 year old diesel. As said above, I’d buy new over either of those options. But work on the ‘19 price.
Why is someone selling a 2019, O&G guy?

'19 - newer, and probably still under warranty.

The platinum only if dealer includes free truck nuts

In all seriousness get the 19 but 53k is too much. You could get a new one close to that with 0% financing.
Need to get 19 into the mid 40s

Not enough of a difference in age and mileage and price for their to be a discernible difference to me. The 19 resell value will be better longer simply because its only a year old now but if you plan on keeping it until it stops either will probably fit the bill.
