Whether that’s exactly how it happens, it lasts for a few days. Ask the guys I work with for the last couple days

Definitely true also get them from cleaning ducks. Something about smelling that rank gut smell transitions to your fotts

I swear I thought I was the only one that believed that. Ive had it happen to me many times. Never wanted to say anything out loud because everyone would think I was crazy

I'm relieved I'm not the only one, I'm not as crazy as I thought

It's the aroma you breathe in somehow gets recycled through your farts. Same as when you are in the marsh for a while.

You get the animal’s gut bacteria on your hands and end up ingesting it when you eat something. Pretty soon you are farting the same farts as the animal.
I can't even...
Perhaps the deer gut smell is so bad that it stays in your nose for a few days...then when you yourself fart, it is a firm reminder to the deer gut smell?
I'm going to need to see the science behind this thread

Some of my feral cousins/uncles in Mississippi claim that when you're around/cleaning a deer that has been gut shot or had the gut punctured your farts end up smelling like the deer guts.

I can 100% confirm this is true. Can’t explain it but it happens

I don't know about all of this, but I do know that my shite takes on a very marsh-muddy smell after 2 days in Leeville.

I've noticed I go into rut after gutting a buck. Wife hates it.

Idk about deer, but I believe it. My farts always smell like dead pogies and chum after a long fishing trip.

Just like touching a dead pogey.
You are ruint for a couple days.
