A bunch. We have a company lease in Freer, Tx that's 100,000 acres high fence. As soon as they drop you off at a stand and drive off and throw with the feeder mounted on the front of the truck, the deer immediately come out of the brush and start feeding. I'd guess maybe 40 or 50 was the most I've seen. I don't consider that "real" hunting.

Does anyone consider this 'real hunting'?

I’ve been deer hunting public land in LA the past three seasons and the majority of hunts I don’t see anything. Most deer sightings in one hunt would be 3-4 which happened twice I think.

Outside Mitchell, OR.....couple hundred mule deer in a day many times. They feed on the ranchers crops although the big boys are up high on rocky terrain during the season.

Several different hunts in the Midwest where I’ve seen 50-75 in a field at the same time.

One hunt out of Leakey,TX was pretty incredible back in 2006.i was working in San Antonio and went with a customer to his ranch for a weekend. Fog set in before daylight and I was hunting in a large field. I kept seeing spots everywhere as the sun was coming up. The more light I that came, the more I could tell it was deer everywhere. No telling how many they had there. I killed a cull 8 and nice axis within the first hour of daylight. We went in to kill a dozen or so hogs the rest of the trip.

22 in a morning hunt years ago. All does. All different ones on our lease in Mansfield La. The mining venture was on the backside of the lease and pushed alot of deer on us.

Sadly enough, some people do. Maybe even some people that post here.

My boy and I counted 31 one morning last year in Morehouse. I grew up hunting Concrdia with dogs and later south Catahoula and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that many or more a half dozen times at least.

Yea, I’ve sat in the long field at Riverland in the evening and seen an insane amount of deer.
