El Bekalli was doing a lot of pushing and grabbing. Pretty lucky he got away with it.

What a freaking race. Anybody else find themselves screaming "Go! Go! Go!" at the TV?

These distance races have been incredible. The 1500 yesterday was insane. This steeplechase was great.

This is probably the first time I've really followed the T&F events at the Olympics and I am hooked. Insane drama.

They had to take Girma off on a stretcher.
Ugh... aside from getting hit with a javelin/hammer/discus, that shouldn't happen. Hopefully he's just banged up.

Don't think I've ever seen any Olympic medalist runner with shorter legs compared to his body than Rooks.

Girma's knee hit the barrier on the way up. He landed hard on his back and might've been out cold

Yeah on the replay he wasn’t moving.

And then you wince for the guys behind him who have to jump him and the gate and hope no one else gets hurt.

Yeah, that looked very bad. Hopefully his back isn't fractured.

The British announcer has been outstanding for the track calls. He leaves no emotion out of it. He's yelling like we are

I follow gymnastics since my daughter is a gymnast. I follow swimming, golf, and the volleyball sports. I keep following the games but just tune out on the track events. Now it's all I want to watch.

I can't tell for sure but his left arm may have hit the Kenyan to his left arm and that through him off.

Rewatching the video of Hall reminds me of my coach yelling "BIG ARMS, BIG ARMS" as I'm dying at the end of a 400
