Alexandria got more rain from Delta, though. At one point it was looking like it would be 20"+. They had 2"+/hr rainfall rates at times.

Good luck. Thats Cleco? We're a sliver of the parish with entergy. The companies must be out and about. Winds are done.

Any word on whether Lake Pontchartrain surge flooded Lakefront Airport?
Posted on 10/28/20 at 8:48 pm to Jake88
I’ve found cleco to be much better in consistency and speed of hurricane response than entergy. I was in entergy on the south shore until 2005. Sucked.

Lost power at 5:55 in Old Metairie. Just getting cell service (kind of) back.
Being in that eye was one of the crazier things I’ve experienced.

Our dog trainer lives in Bentley. He woke up to the dogs barking at water coming into the kennel. By the time he got the last one out, the dog had to swim. He said he has been living there 50 years and it had never come up that fast.

Nice, I’m on west approach in mandeville, hopefully we are soon. Well actually I kind of like it out, kids are asleep, neighbors out and about, pretty cool.

Being in the eye
Was the 2nd time in 55 years. Pretty wild.

Sustained winds out there were 98 mph a few hours ago. Those houses and condos are taking another beating.
