I'd settle for holding them to any sort of standard at all.

she getting a kickback through relatives or something? I have a hard time believing she’s not making a profit in some way.
Seems suspicious. I wonder if she does this type of thing often. Seems like she would’ve also lowered the chick’s bond too just so it wouldn’t have looked suspicious.

Just think how good life would be if we held elected officials to the same standard as we do police officers.
Lets just start electing police officers

it seems like criminals always have marijuana in their possession when they get busted. They must get all high on it and go crazy
It's true. I smoked a joint earlier. And I just fricked up some trail mix and salami. Next, I'm either going to rob a liquor store or fall asleep watching Netflix.

His bond was set at $5,000 by a different judge, Judge Anderson, but there was a note reading "notify Judge White of new arrest"
That guy has to have a running tab paying someone off. Maybe the judge doesn’t know about it but whoever has her ear is damn sure getting paid.

I don’t think she gives a frick.
She knows her constituents will continue to vote for her & all she has to do is scream the R word if she is investigated

Whose job is it to investigate judges sentences for legality and fairness? Is it the DA? Surely there is some type of checks and balances for this and judges aren't free to just sentence as they please, although it sure as hell appears that is exactly what Trudy has been doing for years. Isn't there some agency that we could publicly demand an answer from?

Good idea, then people will probably stop complaining about crappy cops. They'll just accept it since it's LA and elected officials have no standards.

It always makes me laugh when Democrats bitch about guns and gun violence then turn around and applaud activist judges like this that let people skate on a $1000 bond for a felon in possession of a firearm charge.

I hated this bitch since the Beauregard Town murder.
And I'm 100% correct in my assessment of her stupidity and corruption.

I would guess that there is a judiciary committee or the Louisiana Supreme Court justices would investigate shenanigans like what goes on in her courtroom.

It's so outside of the standards it's hilarious what she gets away with.

I don't see the problem here. The judge is trying to keep non violent offenders out of jail. This should be done more often.

A guy like this running around in a community is dangerous. He has low level guys he supplies and is probably a lower level mid tier guy. These actions lead to a lot of shootings in low income areas where drug dealing is wide spread.
Hey when you have Card Blanche to commit crimes which lead to bigger crimes I guess it is ok?
How would you feel if this guy moved next door to you and brought his problems with him. I bet you would change your tune quickly.

Can’t you ask someone you went to high school, or college, or law school with to do something about Trudy?
I thought you had some pull.
