This will be resolved in a couple of days.

The Roku dispute went on for 6+ months. Youtube TV has about 4 million subscribers. They're small time compared to Comcast, Cox, Directv, and Dish. Disney isn't going to treat them any different than the rest.

If you have YouTubeTV go to their platform and give them feedback on the situation. I guarantee you if they have 10-15% of their base threaten to leave they will get this bullshite sorted out.

It’s all a ploy to get them to switch to (Disney owned) Hulu.

Canceled mine, would have billed on the 28th. I only need them until Jan 4th and was gonna just pay that month then cancel till next football season.

I'm sure I can find a free-er alternative, later losers.

I preempted the losing of the mouse channels. As luck would have it, my monthly payment to YouTube TV was supposed to be yesterday. The day before, I dropped YouTube tv and switched to Hulu live. I preferred YouTube because the interface was just better. But it doesn’t really matter. I drop my cable channel streaming service after the last football game of the season. Then I’ll look at things before the season starts at the end of August.

After more research and comparisons, Hulu + live tv is not nearly as good as YouTubetv (with ESPN). I hope they cave because I really don’t want Hulu + live tvs shite offering. It’s a downgrade for more money and less flexibility.

Youtubetv could have agreed to terms and just upped their rates a tad, but instead they will lower the rates and lose customers.

bullshite. I pay enough already. YouTube makes plenty money. They need to pay the increase and move on.

Ehh not really. YouTube gets into carriage disputes quite a bit.

If you want to talk about how YTTV is also losing DisneyXD, FX, and NatGeo sure.

But this is sports related b/c it's specifically about ESPN.

Serious question - do your YouTube provider credentials work via the ESPN app? No experience with YouTubeTV, but I know the espn app hasn't asked for my DirecTV credentials in a couple of weeks. Watching it now on my phone--that may be a backdoor way for you to keep watching, at least for a while.

I'm about 16 hours away from remainder-of-year vacation right now. Getting ready to sit on my arse and watch meaningless bowl games for the next 2 weeks. I'd legit hurt someone if they pulled ESPN on me right now.

Download ESPN app and use a friends cable login temporarily. I doubt this lasts more than a week.
