Probably Neutron Dance or Everybody Wants to Rule the World or Money for Nothing, Boys of Summer, Take on Me, Small Town, Born in the USA, but you know they will fricking end up playing We Are the World for the 1000th time.

"It Takes Two" and "You Shook Me All Night Long" were always good to get the party going. Anyone in the late '80's/early '90's probably has memories of yelling "get laid, get fricked" during Mony Mony.

We didn't have homecoming dances at our small town in NE Texas. You know Baptists and all. We did have prom though.

Same here until a new kid moved in and changed everything.

Honestly only remember Get it Ready. Can’t remember too many late 90s dance songs. Back dat arse up came out my freshman year at lsu though.

ETA: Maybe intergalactic by the beasties. Also probably something cheesy like Don’t wanna miss a thing by Aerosmith and time of your life by Green Day.

90s R&B tGOAT

This

Graduated ‘01 and never attended a dance that didn’t play Drama Squad - Pepper Boy or end with Blackstreet - Before I Let You Go. Great times.

Recently discovered 98.5FM although someone said it’s been around for a while.
This may be the best thing NOLA has going for them minus the Steve Harvey show, the same couple of new r&b songs they play every hour, and all the liberal vaccination propaganda BS they spew.
AD Berry, Uptown Anglea, & Keith Sweat all have segments where they play all the goods from Isely Brothers to Jodeci to New Edition to Black Michael Jackson to Aaliya and so on. Definitely one of my favorite genres.
