Two that i remember vividly from my sophomore year homecoming dance, both had been recently released :
‘Wild Wild West’ by The Escape Club
‘Pour Some Sugar on Me’ by a certain band with a one-armed drummer

I used to love some Jodeci and then K-Ci and JoJo came out with All My Life.
There are a lot of good slow songs, but I'll Make Love To You by Boyz II Men used to be a jam.
I wish R Kelly wasn't a pedophile who peed on people because his first album with Your Body's Callin was another good one.
Do they even make music like that anymore?
Freak Me by Silk..

I was blessed to come of age at a time in which the No Limit Soldiers were still going strong, while the Cash Money Millionaires were really taking off.

Stone Jamm would be playing something by The Time or Gap Band. Lets go with You Dropped the Bomb on Me.

We stroll into the gymnasium to the sounds of A-ha or Simple Minds. As the teachers see some of us are clearly drinking, they decide to get things moving with Crockett's Theme by Jan Hammer. A whole lot of Huey Lewis, Dire Straights, Duran Duran follows. Then the teachers want to ease out and have a few drinks themselves so they turn to the time honored Slow Dance where we are treated to Feels So Right by Alabama.

‘80-‘83. Foreigner, AC/DC, The Cars, Michael Jackson, and many others from that era. Good times for sure.
