Electrician
2-4 Mil lifetime is way off.
Have a buddy who works for a industrial gas company. He makes dang good money working on electrical motors and such. He's on call a ton but they pay for his loyalty.

I'll have to help my kids pick a path one day.
Thankfully, I'm old enough that I'll be retired when they start working. So, they will already have the starting capital and consulting support to transition from job to entrepreneur when they are ready.
Career:
1. Doctor, Accountant, Finance.
- Maybe Engineer but outsourcing is going to be brutal.
- Maybe Lawyer but hours and politics are entry stakes.
2. Trades into Entrepreneur: Electrician, Carpentry, Plumbing, HVAC
3. Buy an established business from someone retiring.
4. Sales, especially if you have connections
Supplement with a Side Hustle until your passion makes enough to become your primary job.
- Real Estate, Merchandise, Sports and Outdoors, etc.

I’d pick the same one I did back then.

I know multiple accountants that have surpassed that Lifetime earnings total.
A numbers person would have caught the + sign after all of them. I know quite a few attorneys who beat the 5MM mark in a year and a lot more that make that in 3-4 years.

A numbers person would know this would indicate a typical range of earnings, and even a staff level accountant would make nearly this much over a career. $3-$4 million is a narrow range at or near the bottom of the salary range of that career. Not very accurate

I would still go the nursing route. I just would have went to CRNA school at 23 years old instead of going to NP school at 34.

Those lifetime earnings numbers seem suspect.

HVAC. Get a degree at a trades school, work as a tech for a few years and then start your own business

Instead of throwing money at college, load up on every Bicsi cert you can while working for a low voltage contractor, move to a place with lots of data centers, and profit in a myriad of ways.

If I'm a female, whore.
If I'm a man, heavy equipment operator.
If I'm any of the other alphabet people, kill myself = dead.

Would’ve done the same thing… military but reserves and electrician at the same age 19.
