Looks like some severe get there itis to beat that thunderstorm. Probably dealing with a decent tailwind from a downdraft.
Yep. Decent downburst signature with that storm that rolled right over the radar at the airport.
Hopefully this works. It is the first time I've used Weather Front to upload. I like itd 24hr radar loop on the free version. I had to convert the loop to a gif, so hopefully I did all that correctly and it shows up right. I couldn't get it to do dual pane for some reason.
ETA:
Gusts weren't terrible at the time, but maybe enough to cause issues. I don't know the exact time of the crash.

ATC audio is out. Pilot is definitely a dot Indian. We'll see what comes of this.

By the time the official investigation gets completed in a year, there will be already another incident. The FAA needs a serious overhaul. The head of FAA even eluded to that today.

At the 7:27 mark you can hear communication with the control tower. The pilot has a heavy accent, can anyone make it out?

This is exactly what happened. They were landing on rw30, winds out of the west, normal conditions. Big wind shift due to that thunderstorm, gusty winds out of the south. Sustained winds 20 mph, gusts to 30 mph. Significant cross, decent tailwind, and the gas station owner put her down way too long and fast.

Great analysis by that guy. Thanks for posting.
Definitely sounded like an H1B pilot to me.

I haven’t read a lot of this yet, but was the downburst why the plane was landing nose down? It actually lifted nose up a little before leveling out again just before touching down. I thought the nose was going to touch first for a little bit. I am not exactly sure where the downburst happened, or if nose down was more of a tactic to deal with it.
Also, if it’s still holding to be true that flaps and reverse thrusters were not initially set to brake after touching down were they thinking of implementing a touch and go before landing too far down runway and with a tailwind from downburst projecting outwards on land (requiring even more runway and speed) that would have made that impossible?
