If everyone put their shopping carts back instead of the middle of spots, stayed out the left lane, held doors for strangers, didn't chat with the checkout person after their sale is complete while there's a line behind them, the world would be a better place.

I'd suspect your issue lies with those that show up at 7:30, 7:45...I can certainly allow a little grace for a traffic accident, something out of your control, etc.
One of my daughter's friends is notorious for showing up on "her time". Like if you want her anywhere close to everyone else, she needs to be told the actual time is an hour earlier. Now THAT we can agree on.

People who are outwardly low class. People will quickly tell you they are proud that they never went to college, never saw *insert extremely famous and critically acclaimed classic film*, never been to NYC or LA, never wear a suit, etc.

This is my mother... we lie to her about times or, if it's not important, just let her show up whenever. Heck, maybe that's why I am the way I am.
