I can get anything I really need at my local Myrtle Pharmacy instead of Walgreens (and it's actually cheaper for a lot of stuff.)
There's not Walmart within an hour or more from me in Brooklyn but I still avoid Target. There are shops that easier for me to stop in and buy pretty much anything I'd get at Walmart.

Can't imagine what I'd need from Walmart that these shops don't have.
It's actually much more convenient where I live to just shop in my neighborhood. It's harder when I'm in Pensacola since people flocking to Amazon/Walmart etc has led to too many of the independent local shops closing. But, it's still possible.
