It doesn't mean one's racist; it just means that we make subtle, unconscious decisions about people (and a bunch of other things).
They're called heuristics, and they are both useful (have to make quick decisions) and detrimental (if we rely too much in them). They are inherent human nature.

that's a badly programmed test they are tying the response time to your natrual preferences when in reality the response time is tied to memory
a better algorhtim would have been to to let users first determine what is good and what is bad then give pictures of various people doing various things and let them determine of those things are good or bad and have each answer weighted similar to the Myers briggs personality tests are

They base the conclusion on getting you used to white and good being on the right and black and bad being on the left and then swapping them. Of course you're gonna mess that up a little. If they reversed them I bet the conclusion would be reversed to say we slightly prefer African Americans
