Test is pretty much crap though.
The problem is that while there is a relationship with real-world biases, researchers in the field have noted the weak relationship and causationed extrapolating the results; however, that hasn't stopped people who don't understand or don't care about the science from making unsupported inferences.
As almost always the case, the science is far less controversial than people would think it like, so they use it for their own nefarious means.

Those questions were very slanted towards a white person being queried. Not neutral at all.

My test didn't go that way, FWIW. I had White faces with bad words and black faces with good words to start.
I ended up with a slight preference for white people over black people. I also refused to answer any of the questions as the end of the test so as to keep the results as pure as possible.

If it were reversed we'd all show a racial prejudice towards White Americans. The test formulators are getting the results THEY desire, not reality.

The test is more of a game. They even suggest you go as fast as you can. His "test" could be about puppies vs kittens and good and bad could be switched out with two random colors. You'd have the same results.

The only part of the test that I question is the association of "black" and "bad" with the same key was simply easier for me to remember because they both start with a "b". I should take the gay/straight test to see if those results hold up with gay and good...

For the IAT test from the OP, 70% of individuals prefer white, while blacks prefer white about 50% of the time. It doesn't mean one is racist; it just means that our brain is able to process associations that we find to be more aligned.

It's a solid test. I studied it extensively in undergrad and it has been modified and improved immensely over time.
The people that flunk it just don't like being told they are racist.
Get over yourself and ask yourself if you do actually feel these prejudices. Ask yourself why and is there is any legitimacy to it.
If you're rationable and logical, you'll realize that of course it's not legit, and in fact more of jsut a beta/cuck fear/xenophobia. Then you can more forward to a more alpha and accepting life
