Young gentlemen killed at bar near Livonia

What’s the story on this ? Just trying to break up a fight and gets shot ?

Officials say Allen was trying to break up a fight when he was fatally shot.
Allen was shot by 17-year-old Ronald Campbell.
18th Judicial District Attorney Tony Clayton told WAFB he plans to try Ronald Campbell, the accused teen, as an adult.
As for the Raxx Bar and Grill, the Louisiana Alcohol and Tobacco Control Commissioner ordered an emergency suspension of the place on Monday, September 20.
“When the evidence comes out, you’ll see that this young man actually ran to the scene to help a young guy, a young minor who was being plummeted, beaten up by 6 or 7 guys. And he allowed that kid to escape and he was trapped. He was trapped by these other guys that were beating up this kid, he was trying to get out of it, and they killed him. The evidence is going to shock the conscience of any juror, and they’re going to feel sorry for this victim.”

Livonia isn't on my list of towns that I would visit a bar in. That restaurant south of 190 is legit though. Can't remember the name.

What a waste. The man was just trying to stop a fight and ends up on the worst end of it. You might know the DA would try to hang it on the gun.

Based on the description, he wasn't breaking up a fight. He saved someone else from being killed by a mob, but this useless DA only charged one person in his death.
