The woman said she and her father first spoke online, after he had reached out to her mother wanting to get back in touch.

“We chitchatted online for a few days and found out we were similar,” she told the publication in 2015. “We shared the same favourite TV shows — The Simpsons and The Big Bang Theory — and we both love to draw.”

She had only stayed with him for a week before she says they realised they had “strong feelings for each other”.

“We discussed whether it was wrong and then we kissed. And then we made out, and then we made love for the first time. That was when I lost my virginity,” she said.

The story quickly caused a stir on social media with many calling the union ‘so wrong’.

“This is so wrong, so so so wrong,” one person wrote online. “I wish someone would step in and save this poor girl.”

But the bride said people didn’t really understand their relationship.

“I just don’t understand why I’m judged for being happy,” she said.

“We are two adults who brought each other out of dark places. People need to research incest and GSA because they don’t get it and I don’t think they understand how often it happens.”

ETA: That father has to be even more fricked up mentally than the daughter.....at least he shoulda known better
