Think about that, everyone would want to win, lets say you are the lucky winner though. State lotterys usually report within hours the city and store that sold the winning ticket. People get murdered for thousands of dollars, now you have a ticket to a billion dollars in your house. Even if you don't tell anyone people are likely still looking for u based on the initial information.

That would be a very long, terrifying night or set of nights, until you are able to claim.

Can you update us on where the ticket was purchased, did we pinpoint who won it yet, and the Purge like night that ensued last night?

Body counts would be nice to add to your update.

First thing I'd do is go straight to the bank in the morning and put the ticket in the safe deposit box.
frick that.

That ticket would never leave my hand until I turned it over to the lottery official.

I wasn't scared when I claimed my first Powerball win.

Shelton, it's very easy to find people, my point was that if people break in and steal million dollar items with no trace someone with resources can certainly track down a lottery winner before they are even able to turn it in.

once you sign the back no one else can turn it in but you. so just like, ya know, sign the back if you win.

Yeah what’s this dudes point?

Is he saying that just knowing the store that the ticket was bought he can pinpoint the exact time, break into security footage, use facial recognition, get address, and profit?

I have quite a few guns. Wouldn't be able to sleep so won't catch me napping. Be too busy lining up the 59 Russian mail order brides for my new private island getaway.

The problem isn't getting the ticket it in. The issue is some states release the name of the winner.
