That's what I was getting at. He probably just thinks that he owns the property.
You can't put signs in the easement. In the political world, that area is known as the devils strip.

Find out where the agent lives then put it in their yard.

It might not be ur property. It might be part of parish/county property
In that case it's considered litter and you can pick it up and throw it away and there is nothing the agent can do about it.

Wait for the HOA to send you a fine for the sign in your yard?

I probably wouldn't notice or care

This happened to my neighbor and he ran it over with his riding lawnmower. It was one of the plastic folding signs and the funniest thing I have ever witnessed in my life.

I live on a corner lot. People regularly put garage sale or other types of signs on the corner. I take them down most of the time.

Lot of people here seem to think you don't own the servitude. Try not cutting the grass there and see if the city doesn't cut it and send you a bill.

Is it under a street sign? Then likely that it isn't your land

You are correct. Thanks.
I'm with the guy who said burn it. Do something dramatic with it.

Technically, it's likely that it's placed in an easement that isn't your property.
Most easements are for utilities and government not for some private company to advertise.

Set it in concrete in the agent's yard.
Posted on 6/7/17 at 2:57 pm to The Mick
I would take it and use it as a target.
