More introspection will heal you. You have to dig deep. Running from those feelings is why you numb yourself with alcohol.

You said beer, all the OT tards are gearing up to call everyone an alcoholic.

IPAs can be pretty filling, but light beers arent very filling at all.

I don’t drink like I used to, but feeling full has never been an issue. I can pretty much drink light beer indefinitely and can drink IPAs until I black out without feeling full. I wish I did feel more full because it would be easier to moderate.

I would bet $100 you have more threads posted than posts. You have no hobbies other than starting mostly dumb threads on here.

Same. I had two on Saturday night and felt like I’d had a loaf of sourdough. I remember drinking a case as a fratstar and it had zero effect . And wine gives me headaches. So whiskey it shall remain.

I drank ALOT of beer up until a few years ago when my gallbladder ruptured. I’m 46 now and drank beer from the time I was 16 until 43.
2-3 beers now is all I’ve got until I have to make a switch. I still love the taste of beer, just can’t drink 20-30 per sitting like I used to do.

Just curious why you would eat a cup of rice? That's a lot after you cook it.
The easiest glycogen repletion for me from the 150g of white carbs. I've never tolerated during ride glycogen replacement well so it is easier for me just to do it post training as long as it is less than 2 hours in duration. Anything longer than 2 hours (~50 miles) I have to get 60-90 grams of simple carbs in my body per hour from the first hour. My diet tends to revolve around glycogen repletion.

As long as Burt Reynolds keeps delivering it, I'm gonna keep drinking it.

Last time I drank, about 10 years ago, I drank beers from noonish till 3am. There was a hour between them for lunch and dinner, but I only felt a little high. Quite a bit less of a shyness though. Peed a lot.

My uncle always said there’s a sandwich in every beer.

it for the buzz? If so, why not drink whiskey instead? If it’s the buzz you’re after, distilled spirits are much more efficient.
I think I like the process of drinking more than the actual effects of drinking. I can easily kill a 12 pack of light beer on a Fri night.
If I started on whiskey at 5pm I'd be toast.

I just do it. Space the beers out and stay up late. I had 12 beers and a 16 oz ribeye Friday and then 15 beers Saturday with two chicken fried venison cube steaks. Now I have the flu. I’m 37 too. Taking a week or two off the booze.
