When I was a resident, I’d have a drink after getting off of a night shift sometimes to relax before going to bed.

One morning after a shift I stopped by the liquor store at opening (8a) to grab some beer.

The ppl that were there waiting in line outside were not working nights. They were on their way to work making their morning stop for vodka.

Mostly painters it seemed like but also some dudes in suits. The clerk knew them by name. shite was pretty sad
