It depends entirely on the green in question and how it’s playing of course. If it’s some crazy undulating one, no more than 5 ft. Luckily, putting is my strength in golf.
If it’s a fairly straightforward one, I’d be tempted to try 20 ft, but probably just go with 10 ft and feel pretty confident. $250k I could take a long ways.

Depend on the layout of the green.
flat I’d go 10ft

I don’t golf much but I rarely miss a putt 5ft or less
