Yes spending is the problem (muh poor people just being a slice of it, cut Medicare and Social Security and the military as well), but not paying your bills for money already spent and instead just charging it to your kids credit card is making our debt explode

66% of the budget is entitlements (Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid) then the military budget and interest on the debt makes up another 25%.
At this point you have 90% of the budget.
