It’s the same in any other context. You drop a shoulder and look like like you’re going to throw a punch, the victim gets to assume you’re going to follow through. Police would usually just introduce you to the pavement. This guy’s fists served the same purpose. The threat was ended and he walked away.

I'm pretty convinced everyone supporting this guy are huge MMA fans. There is no other explanation for the make believe stories about how this violent guy was just going about his business and out of his way to be polite to the mean drunk that he finally had to dispatch, having no other choice...

so you are saying that the guy wasnt bouncing around and backed into schilling? its pretty clear that is what happened. the guy was on one side of the aisle and schilling on the other, and the guy backed right into him. If you dont agree you are dumb...
schilling even moved more to his right closer to the tables to avoid the guy.

Or, they are common sense people who take to the age old maxim of, "play stupid games, win stupid prizes". I have no sympathy for some dumbass flexin on a dude twice his size, and finding out why you shouldn't do that. No civil suit is needed. No criminal charges needed. Any well trained fighter, especially against a weak drunk, can control and restrain that person safely without knocking him out with punches to the head/face.
