I hope you didn't think you'd be able to offend anyone here by talking about the quality of the individual who goes to Gulf Shores.

You've clearly not been to Gulf Sores/Orange Beach/Ft. Morgan in the post-Hurricane Ivan era. Very clean, nice, quiet, more family oriented destination. Given its expansion over the last several years, there is clearly demand to be there.

In our defense, what else is there to do at the beach besides drink?

The Birmingham suburbs are filled with pretentious little WASP families trying to keep up with each other. As the author points out all stereotypes contain a certain degree of truth.

Have at it, as long as it doesn't endanger others or is so unruly that it messes up the enjoyment of others at the beach, then it doesn't bother me.

Why do people from Louisiana stop in the trash pit of Gulf Shores? Drive an hour down the road to nicer Florida.

The good news is the LA baws are being displaced from 30A

The bad news is that they're being displaced by hordes of Texans driving the official state vehicle (late model suburban)

People from Louisiana don't think about every dollar spent in Alabama going directly back to supporting the University of Alabama football team. Thanks for contributing to 6 in a row, morans.

Yep, that's true. A lot of them go to 30A now, which is good. I live in a "suburb" of Birmingham (north of town, not south) but try to avoid all of the uptight areas.

Stop getting so riled up, supposed to be a fun thread.

Also, don't call people morons if you can't spell morons.

You Baptists drink more than we do. Not our fault drinking leads to raping and pillaging above I10 and leads to sex and bead throwing down here.

It is unbelievable the real estate prices along 30a now compared to areas east of PC and west of Pensacola.

It is like they have to one up each other on how much they paid for their beach condo.

The folks from Louisiana and Misssissippi are the ones who do the craziest shite at Talladega, too. But, it wouldn't be anywhere near as much fun without them.

Had the Destin PD called on a group I was with. The police officer went on a little tirade about LA people after he entered the condo and saw the results of that nights party. He told us about half his calls involved LA residents. Told us to quiet down and went on his way.

I've never met a single person from y'all's state that I didn't immediately get along with. Louisiana people are proud and amicable. Too bad none of them post here.

Yeah, anyone who goes to an Alabama beach for a vacation isn't a classy individual
