We are going to Mississippi tomorrow and walking into this. Everyone making statements below are wild cards and I don’t really know what of the below is true or not. Gonna be a short visit for us.

My parents just pretty much told me and two of my other brothers that our baby brother and his wife are their favorites. Without coming out and out and saying it to us.
The baby brother and his wife live in Mobile, while myself and the oldest brother live in the same town as my parents. The 2nd born lives in New Orleans and isn’t coming home for thanksgiving.
The baby and his wife got to town this afternoon/evening. Not really sure what time they made it. Anyway, I get home around 6:00 and my wife says “did you know your parents are taking your little brother and his wife to the nicest restaurant in town?”
I said “nope. Guess it’s good to know where ya stand though.”

8:30 in the east and I am going to bed. Early dinner tomorrow with family and then off to the beach. All together Friday, including dogs, and a weekend of football, crab soup, oysters and boiled shrimp.

Make sure everyone has at least 2 glasses of wine in them then bring it up. I feel it allows people to speak more freely without tiptoeing around the real issue. Only then can healing truly begin.
