Don’t have much to contribute but this made me laugh. My mom is big into holidays. She loves cooking and having a big spread for Thanksgiving. Last year my stepdad slightly over cooked the turkey. Mom has made sure he didn’t forget it starting about 2 weeks ago. I’m sitting in the kitchen this morning and he comes out with a cardboard box.
Me: hey man what’s all that?
Stepdad: I bought 10 thermometers. Turkey won’t be over cooked this year.
Sure enough he dumps out a pile of thermometers. Wife and I got a laugh out of it.

Same we have all been told to get ready so we can get there super early to have extra awkard moments of silence before eating. I added the awkard part.

Wife (no pics) and I said screw it and got a cabin in the middle of nowhere near the Buffalo. Our little girl is 1 now. We did the tour de thanksgiving last year and were miserable. So this year it’s just us 3 + the golden retriever. Posted up watching football and basketball and snacking on pre-bought Thanksgiving food from the Mennonite place down the road.

No. We been married 17 years and both of us has been faithful to each other. She has been wanting some changes for a while and she feels like those changes will never happen. Kinda hard to explain without creating a Dear Facebook post.
