The grid’s gonna need all the help it can get when the soys are charging the EV’s at night.
Especially in areas where they have rolling blackouts.

Our Federal building's AC has been out since last summer. I installed an 8,000 BTUH portable AC unit to keep my office at 68F. It's ducted into the space above the acoustic tiles so what ever poor frick that has an office over that wall must be hating life.

EAD....I actually run extra a/c units during the summer
Same here. I leave the main unit at 74 for the common areas of the house and add additional units in sleeping areas because we all like it at the coldest setting for sleep. Sleep is so much better that way. Who the frick can actually get any sleep at 82 degrees?

Down stairs unit recently lost the ability to cool the house alone, so now the second unit is helping it maintain 72 during day (so works from home) and 68 at night.

Can you tell me what temperature Bernie Sanders insists the AC is set to, in his room, at the hotels he stays in?

75 during the day.
74 at night, ceiling fan on blast.
Yes, we live off of 30A in Floriduh.
It works for us.

I don't think they considered the extra energy and water wasted when you have to wash your sheets all the time from sweating while you sleep.
