I’m actually good at wrapping presents. And I enjoy it. It’s calming to me for some reason. Usually watch either Elf or Love Actually and wrap presents. I even love making ribbon curls and placing bows, etc on after the gift is wrapped.

I get someone from work to do mine. I am terrible and it is tedious. I would gladly pay like Rando but those people around Houma, in the past, seem to do a basic job.

This is why I just give people money. I don't even bother with envelopes anymore.

Pio, get some spray77 and a big roll of aluminum foil. After you have stuck the foil to it, make the bow with some red spray paint.

ETA: Put the foil with the shiny side out. Putting the dull side out would be trashy.

Mine look professionally wrapped on one end and the other end looks like it was wrapped by Edward Scissorhands. I'll never figure it out and I don't even care.

Besides, I heard on the radio that people like gifts better when the wrapping sucks.

people like poorly wrapped gifts

My wife, poor thing. She can’t wrap worth a damn. She still helps, but it’s borderline embarrassing.

Dollar Tree, every year mid-December... Mingle with the poors for a couple minutes, grab all the large gift bags you need, in my case i spend $20 or $25 and i’m fully stocked... No brainer, I haven’t had to wrap a gift in over 10 years.

pioneer, I forget how young you are.

I used to use the store bag as wrapping paper, I’d just tape the end of it shut.

Now I can wrap like a reasonably competent 10 year-old wraps.
