Don’t be a dummy. The prime part of the season hasn’t started yet

Right now there is such a massive amount of shear that nothing is going to hold together. When the shear breaks down, we're fricked.

I actually got rain at my house today.. For a good ten mins. It cooled things off for about 15 mins.

I like the cold. Way more than this at least, to a certain extent. Give me 35 over 102 all day.

You can always put more clothes on. You can only take so much off.

Yeah but thats not keeping the lid on things right now. Its subsidence and dry air over the MDR.
We might get a TUTT (seen some models with one showing up) over the MDR for the middle of August too. Thats a good thing for us, bad thing for storms trying to develop.
We're in the go time now, so gotta stay vigilant but I much prefer this look to the last few years starting up August.

I’ll gladly take some rain from a slow moving tropical depression.

August 2016 was basically that scenario.

Completely unexpected

FYI: Not necessarily. It depends on where you are. There was a story a while back about a Florida man who was angering his neighbors because he did all of his outside work in the nude. The police were called several times, but nothing was done because he wasn't touching himself in a lewd manner or doing anything sexual. There has to be intent there in some places.
So, check your local and state laws. Maybe you can strip down to water the plants.
