This isn’t true at all

From their website.

quote:

Democratic socialists do not want to create an all-powerful government bureaucracy. But we do not want big corporate bureaucracies to control our society either. Rather, we believe that social and economic decisions should be made by those whom they most affect.

quote:

Socialists have been among the harshest critics of authoritarian Communist states. Just because their bureaucratic elites called them “socialist” did not make it so; they also called their regimes “democratic.” Democratic socialists always opposed the ruling party-states of those societies

quote:

Democratic socialists have long rejected the belief that the whole economy should be centrally planned. While we believe that democratic planning can shape major social investments like mass transit, housing, and energy, market mechanisms are needed to determine the demand for many consumer goods.

There is an entire section on their website that goes into much larger detail.

I read it, you are beyond naive if you believe they are anti big government. They want everything to be run through cooperatives. Do you think the cooperatives will not be controlled by the government?
Also you left out this quote from their site
quote:

While the large concentrations of capital in industries such as energy and steel may necessitate some form of state ownership,

You should put the entire quote.

quote:

While the large concentrations of capital in industries such as energy and steel may necessitate some form of state ownership, many consumer-goods industries might be best run as cooperatives.

In their own words they are anti big government. You are the one saying different.

The half quote you put is referring to preventing monopolies. If a corporation has total control of a good or service people need and are charging too much/have too much control they get broken up. It’s what happened to the Bell system.

I’m not the one resulting to insults. I’m the one actually doing research and getting information straight from the source and not getting information from second hand sources with bias in either direction.

Same reason I don’t trust news sites on Trumps policies. I go here https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/ and read what he is actually doing.

That’s why I don’t think he is a horrible person or a savior. Like pretty much everyone else he has good and bad ideas.

As an example, Many people think he is pro deportation compared to Obama when he has deported much less immigrants than that administration.

That not naivety, that’s called being educated.

I really want to read his manifesto, but I also don't want to start getting "random" checks at the airport, and "random" opening of my mail.

I've read it a few times. I find stuff like that fascinating. I'm sure that I'm on some FBI watchlist based on books I've purchased online

Being a free country she has every right to belong to any political party or organization and run for office while promoting those beliefs.

Maybe people don’t agree with her point of view because the more Socialists that are elected to office, the less freedoms we will eventually have.

She can be a very attractive woman and has a great body. But she’s definitely in the batshit crazy, redhead hairdresser named Tiffany, put a dead dog in your bed zone of insanity.

Don't donate to Trump, they track and publish that shite. I'm not linking the site, but whoever is behind that initiative needs to taken behind the woodshed.

Yes, I'd definitely be all over AOC if given the opportunity. I HATE her politics and everything that comes out of her mouth is bullshite, but I find her to be very attractive.

Sure you can. We already have various forms of socialism in this country.

Public schools, libraries, police, fire departments, social security, Medicaid, Medicare, military are all social services.

If run correctly (which due to politics most are not) those are all good social programs to have.

Wow. You couldn't be more wrong it you tried. Seriously.

You're correct, because if she was MAGA she wouldn't be saying such dumb things.
