90% of jeep drivers are now women. You transitioning?

lol. Jeep are always one of the more popular topics on the OT.

I’m sure they could be doing something more productive like raiding department stores, but I’ll give them a pass for now.

Jeeping the Coast has convinced me to trade in my Jeep in Monday. I do not want to be associated with the dickheads that were in BSL all weekend in their idiotic Jeeps.

Wife and I went. It was the first time. We didn't register for any of the events so we went where we wanted and did what we wanted to do. No agenda was great. We belong to Louisiana Jeepers and we ran into several from our group. From what we've seen stated, they estimated 4,000-5,000 Jeeps. Yeah, there were Jeeps that, in my opinion, were over the top on accessories. But we notice that there were a lot of old, classic Jeeps. We saw a lot of CJ's that were restored. We even saw one old Army Jeep and a few 1957 Jeep trucks that I've never seen before.

Half never seen the mud. Not to mention they think they can stop traffic to stay together. Cops let them drink and drive. I pray for rain that weekend.

Curious if they have people there looking to sell their Jeeps or is that prohibited? I’d like to get an 80’s model to bang around in

Lots had For Sale signs.
The Jeep culture is a bit nutty…but I didn’t see any dust ups or people acting out. They seemed to be dressed nicer than the Cruisin’ crowd, and they actually went to restaurants instead of bringing an ice chest and sitting on the side of the street.
I don’t think BSL was the focus this year, as it has been in the past. They’ve done beach rides down here, but this year I didn’t see the harbor, or any place, blocked off…but maybe I missed it.

As a prior jeep owner, I have to say that I appreciate the culture.
One thing I noticed shortly after I got mine is that Jeep drivers wave to each other. They appreciate each others ride.
So I totally get this event. It’s nice.

Not sure why the OT hates on certain events so much, you know you can avoid them, right?

Y’all catch fish? My friends who went to Chandelier did, but that’s far AF.

After paying for the add-on, stick-on, bolt-on doodads and the labor to install them, the costs can be over half the value of the vehicle.
A buddy of mine does a lot of installations that owners can easily do.

Some of them do drive trucks they pay $1,200 / month for that never sees the mud either, but they have their truck nuts.
