Said she came across it on social media. So there's only 2 logical conclusions:

1. Homeowner is Facebook friends with or follows the dog sitter on some social media platform

2. Facebook / Instagram / Twitter showed the homeowner an ad or suggested post based on algorithms around her internet browser history.


I'd think the first one is the most likely scenario. Probably got connected to the dog sitter in the first place by asking for a recommendation in a local community Facebook group. People recommend someone for the job, homeowner adds that person as a friend. Then next thing the homeowner knows...they see their bathroom in a video on the dog sitter's FB or Twitter feed advertising on OF account


ETA: I don't know why some people are so trusting of others they barely know. Giving them keys to the house and they know how many days you'll be gone for. Probably the same cost to board your dog at the vet's office without having to worry about if the person you hired is trustworthy to be in your house or reliable to show up to feed and let the dog outside often enough.

If I have learned nothing else from coming here it is that you can find someone who will defend anything, no matter how indefensible or stupid or obviously inappropriate, just for the sake of arguing.

I know an old boy on the south side of Atlanta who has a VRBO house with a private pool and it has been on some DIY porn sites several times. He told me about this once and of course the first thing that came to mind is "how do you know"? He laughed about it and told me he had seen his pool on those sites in exactly the manner I was thinking he had seen it.

We are friends with a couple who swear their romantic escapades at a rental cabin in Pigeon Forge were on a porn site once...supposedly a hidden camera. They never did anything about it legally so I suspect it is not true but every time my wife and I have rented a cabin since we laugh about it and "play" to the hidden camera. It is absolutely possible....folks are some strange animals....

People like us who do not go into a bathroom that is not ours to only use the bathroom are, apparently, abnormal. I never knew this until the whole "men in dresses in the shitter" issue became an issue. Apparently a sizeable number of people in public restrooms are trying to get a peak and are of the opinion that others are doing the same. I try my best to avoid public restrooms and any restroom which does not belong to me but apparently it is normal to notice bathroom characteristics at a glance and who is in the restroom. I never knew it but apparently restrooms, especially public restrooms, are very erotic to a sizeable segment of society. Man is a strange animal.....
