My older sister would let me drink at 14. I still graduated high school, college, and am now a decent member of society. You make it sound like she's going to be banging smack by 17 if she has some drinks.

Kids drink. Might as well let your little sister drink in a controlled environment. It's not like you're throwing a party for a bunch of 15 year old girls to get shite faced.

The best advice my wife has given me is when I am angry at my brother because he may be acting like a jackass and she tells me that he already has a dad to scold him and sometimes it is better to act as the brother and be his friend and cut up or show him a good time (not to say you shouldn't show tough love sometimes).

I say you take her to Crazy Horse. She won't want to leave the house for years.

How has this gone 4 pages w/o anyone mentioning that you could get in legal trouble for this.

You could also be party legally responsible if anyone leaves the house and gets in a wreck.

It's possible that you could be on a witness stand reading this thread for opposing counsel. Don't do it.

I first got drunk when I was 15 at a friends house. The rule her parents had was that no one was to leave after we started drinking. My high school group of friends (including myself) are all good members of society.

I don't see and issue with it, just don't let it become a normal happening at your house. never good to be "that guy"

Not all together a bad idea. I had my first beer at 15 out fishing with my dad. He wanted to show me it wasn't a big deal and all that. Much better than out driving around as teenagers. I had to drive a friend back to my house one time when I was 15 because everyone else was too drunk. Only reason I wasn't drinking is I was on some medication that mixed badly with alcohol.
