There’s no risk of wildfires from around LSU’s campus.

Well that's as weasely a statement as can be assembled.

...state fire marshal has a burn ban with no open flames. Applies to trash burning okey. Applies to cigarettes naw, apply to back yard grilling? naw. apply to construction? naw,

...a state wide burn ban is not a grill ban defined by the school.

...LSU is "encouraging fans". They do not say banning grills

What are the odds that an LSU fan would accidentally start a fire?

The fire Marshal

On Friday, while I was going to an area high school football game, there was a State Fire Marshall lurking around Peltier Park looking for anyone that was going to tailgate for the ED White vs. Vandebilt football game.

It's rained for three straight days in BR last week.

What a bunch of hogwash.

Good to know the large oak trees on campus have no shot of catching fire despite being historically dry

Do you have any fricking clue how long it takes an oak to dry up?

Well shite! I was planning on grilling burgers over a raging campfire by Memorial Tower. It looks like I’ll have to use a grill instead

Not surprising that this is the same school that required vaccine cards to go into the stadium

Why is a USL fan worried about what goes on at an LSU Football game in Baton Rouge and watching WWL New Orleans News?

Maybe you have a bit of a complex?

The suggestion to put a piece of sheet rock under your grill could be a real money maker for student workers. 10000 sheets of wet wall board could take weeks to pickup

This was never enforced. The grilling ban will also not be enforced. You can either go out there and live your life the way you want to, or stay home and be a pussy. Your choice, baw.

I’m grilling all day and possibly all nightly… will no longer comply with progressive nitwits who permeate our government.

Just grill or use propane burners. Cook your tailgate food as you please. Do what you want. Quit listening to these fricking tyrants
