So just to make sure. Just because WWL believe's Dunlap did this. You all are now contacting supporters/friends of Dunlap and calling them out?

Yes, you got it

I am simply going to ask T Bob if he would like to clarify "just how mean and bigoted people in the south can be"

Is that ok? Also, he willing participates in the message board on the huddle. Is it ok if I ask him in there? Is that ok with you? Or will that upset you?

It's more like calling out people who spoke out like they knew 100% of the facts when in reality the guy made it up himself.

Underhill's statement was completely absurd and ridiculous, disparaging WWL because of some perceived political leaning, and essentially accusing them of being bigoted.

He is not a friend of Dunlaps, but a guy who covered the saints for years and happily went on WWL to promote his articles, and now that he's in NE comes with this crap. It was ludicrous.

Saying because WWL believes he did it is also disingenuous. They hired a digital forensics team. They tweet came from a IP associated with his cell phone.

Its pretty clear. Underhill should have said nothing or something supportive of Dunlap, not that utter crap.

I mean, their lawyers know setting all that out in a formal police report is effectively "going public."

ummm... no?

they're going to the police b/c the station feels like its the victim of an extortion attempt by Dunlap and wants him prosecuted

NOPD had to release the record when NOLA.com made the public records request

I think we are saying the same thing. The point is, they wouldn't have put this out ANYWHERE unless they were all but 100% confident in what they had found. It's not like a MEDIA COMPANY is not aware of public records law and the fact that this would be out at least by now.

I think it’s important to point out that Seth started a conversation with his actions. That may be worth the $1.8 million alone. So brave.
