It's the most overrated cookie place I've ever seen.

It was like eating cake that had no rise or something. Hate those things.
Those butter-faced college gals spent $25 + tip for 5 thickly iced cookies to get their sugar fix.

Reminds me of the South Park episode where Randy doesn’t want to donate to charity at the Whole Foods Checkout, really good scene

I don't find it hard at all to hit no tip. I dont understand the compulsion some people have to tip regardless of the situation meriting it or not.

I can assure you I will have zero moral quandary when I click the “no tip” button in this situation.

Hitting "No Tip" quietly no longer pleases me. I like to laugh and rub their noses in the fact I'm not tipping for them to hand me my to go order.

If you’re looking for a real a-hole move, tip two cents.

There is no reason to tip at a self-checkout.

what really bothers me is them asking for a tip when I'm paying before they've even addressed my order.

Maybe I'm paranoid but do the ones preparing my order know at that point that I gave no tip?

At that point, am I then subject to retaliation from the ones preparing my food? This bothers me.

I rarely eat that kind of food anyway but next time this happens I am going to tell them to just cancel the order and never go back.

frick that shite.

You have seen the movie "Waiting" - So did I and you know that shite was based on real life

I am terrified at pissing off staff BEFORE I get my food.

"I was confused to who I was giving money to so I just gave it". I understand why this is such a difficult concept for idiots. Just because they give you the option doesn't mean you have to utilize it.

The kitchen isnt going to know if you tipped or not. They get a little ticket and make the food. I've worked plenty of service and havent seen people frick with someone's food or drink.

Also, what does it say about the level of trust in our society if this many people are scared not tipping will have your food fricked with?

No I haven’t. My wife seems to have no problem getting cross with the person taking the order at a drive through.

When that happens I decide I really don’t want anything.

Similar situation.
