Before you accuse the poll of being biased, remember that the Wall Street Journal is a right-leaning business paper owned by Murdoch.

60% worried about lifting restrictions too soon
32% worried about not lifting them soon enough

Looks like this board is in the minority opinion. Good to have some context and perspective on that. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

The majority of americans are morons who make decisions based on emotion and not reason

And the idea of unintended consequences is foreign to them

Only 36% trusts what Trump says about the pandemic.
60% trusts Fauci.
> 60% trusts their governor.

That article states that the poll included 900 registered voters. So basically 540 people are worried about lifting the restrictions. That’s too small a sample size to actually give a frick.

News Flash: Polls are useless and how may people actually have a landline any longer ? Idiots that watch the boob tube will believe anything their overlords tell them. Propaganda at its finest. Now I do know that we are surrounded by absolutely ignorant and mindless masses that are ripe for propaganda.

Opening too quickly in New York, sure I would have some concern with that.

No concern whatsoever if 75% of the other states not hit bad open tomorrow though.

The poll acts as an important corrective to the slanted perception one gets from reading this board.

The majority of Americans are easily influenced sheep.

Congrats, I guess.

They polled 900 people. Likely in NYC. Hardly the “majority of Americans”

Fauci backs Trump's plan and timetable.

The fact the persons in the poll apparently don't know that is evidence of their ignorance - as well as the blatant misreporting by the media.

This is common practice in survey methodology. Statistically speaking ... oh frick it, I'm not going to explain it to you because you don't like what the poll says and you'll just ignore whatever I say.

Did they take into account that free money without working is taken away when the economy opens up? People don’t like to get off the tit.

Always remember that 50% of people are below average in intelligence. It's easy to pick up another 10% just because they are loons.

I wouldn't want the average American to choose what I eat for supper, much less the policies our government initiates. The average American is an obese moron who knows more about the trash reality shows on television than politics and current events.

fricking polls. They need to show the questions that were asked EXACTLY AS WORDED before you can tell if the results are legit.

Are you worried that the government may open up business too early?

In the face of thousands of deaths from COVID and uncertainty from the medical communities, does government talk of opening businesses make you worry at all?

With medical evidence that social distancing and stay at home are the only things stopping millions of deaths, doesTrumps horrible decision to open businesses even though it guarantees the deaths of thousands of Americans make you worry?
