I didn't support the stimulus. Rand Paul tried to pass an amendment to offset its costs by ending the Afghanistan conflict and diverting the money we were spending over there. Everyone in the mainstream media and Washington went wild, left and right. Partisanship is an illusion man. Nobody up there has any principles save a tiny few who are universally reviled. Dems hated war and the surveillance state when Bush was President. Now they yell at Trump for trying to remove troops from the Middle East and trust everything told to them by evil bastards like John Brennan and James Clapper. Republicans now talk about the Deep State when George W. Bush and his lackeys were instrumental in growing it in their response to 9/11. Their beliefs are situational.
