Everybody saying their wife would stab them...I have no fear of that happening. My wife is efficient and would shoot me long before I was close enough for her to stab.

Never really thought about it until I saw this thread last night. Wife got home at about 11, so I tested it out. I got a couple fingernail scrapes on my forearms, but no big deal since I wear long sleeves to work anyway. She on the other hand is probably going to have to stay home from work for a few days. I think it'll take best 2 out of 3 to be certain it wasn't a fluke, but my money is on her not really having a fair chance.

My wife is in great shape (when not pregnant) and really athletic, but she’s 5’0” 105 lbs
I’m not anything special and don’t lift weights, but I’m 6’2 210ish. So I’m double her weight and have 14 inches.

I'm 6'2 180 lbs and my wife is 5'3 115 lbs, but she does Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
I like to think that I could just simply over power her, but she knows angles and leverage to overcome the strength
We have wrestled plenty of times and she has got me to tap on several occasions, but I've also never really went 100% at her
I could probably overpower her if I really tried, but then again, she might break my arm if I make a mistake

my wife played college volleyball and is in a hell of a lot better shape than me, odds are she could beat my arse if I didn't knock out quickly
ETA: she's like 5'11", I'm right under 6' but a tad taller than her

My dad said it best, if I was going to be arrested by the average female cop, and I didn't want to be arrested, then there ain't much she can do short of tazing, shooting, or possibly macing me.
That said, my SO is about 5'10 and 145-150 lbs range, I'm right at 6 feet and 165 lbs. I would win but I would know that I was in a fight.

This isn't really fighting, but somewhat similar. Several months ago my wife and I are in the Charlotte Airport and I asked her if she thought she could beat me in a race with me running on the normal ground and her running on the human conveyor belt thing. For some reason she got extremely pissed when I told her I thought I would win the race, and she refused to eat lunch with me in the food court while we were waiting to takeoff.
