I’ve done it many times. It’s doable, but it sucks. Your quality of life goes way down.

Never underestimate the importance of a good commute.

I do it now. Hour in the morning and usually an hour & 15 min in the afternoon. Money is good and I'm not moving to the South shore so I deal with it. It's not bad once you get used to it. It's just part of my daily routine now.

Did it for 5 years.

I don’t mind the drive in the AM since it gave me a chance to wake up and drink coffee.

Drive home sucked some days but for the most part with podcasts and Sirius radio it was not too bad.

I just did a flip in a town about 45 minutes each way. Figured since it was 4-6 week project and a really good pay day I’d suck it up.

That said, I couldn’t imagine making that drive week after week, year after year.

Live 12 miles from my job and take 45 mins to get to and from work.

15 mins with no traffic

i used to drive pretty far for work, but now i only have to drive 1/2 mile from my subdivision to my pharmacy...
