Or if Korea doesn't want to deal with NK's population, China can have all of it and still enjoy that buffer zone to the south.
The question is should the US take military action against N.Korea for continually calling our bluff and making threats like the latest missile launch?

China needs to take a much more active role in the situation but do not appear to be doing so.
Wouldn't it be funny if China were pulling NKs strings all along and goading the US into war?

no way. I dont mind being prepared and right on the border waiting for them to try and hit SK but I dont think we should be starting another war. let some of the regional players lead the strike and we can provide support.

Hell no. Too many people crammed in there.
Trump might be stupid but he’s not stupid enough to press the nuke button first.

No, but he might not have a choice.

I think a military intervention is inevitable. I just hope it is calculated carefully to minimize the resulting loss of life.

When they drop a nuke on us first, everyone here on this board will be crying about why we didn't strike them when they threatened seriously. Wake the frick up people.

do i want it, no, do i think it is necessary, yes
at this point rocket man has to go, he is mentally unstable and dangerous, one tiny mistake and that missile would have landed on japan soil killing a lot of people and the machines of war would have already be in full throttle melt down mode
i see only one real option to avoid war, and that is to take that lunatic out by assassination. lots of others in NK happy to take his place and they are in no hurry to start a war that ends up with half their country dead and them being made whole with SK under SK government control

doesnt matter, even if it has no warhead, which it doesnt. it still has unspent fuel and the impact crater alone would level a city block around it so it could have possibly killed a few hundred people and done extreme damage to property.
a ballistic missile coming down like that only needs to be off course by a fraction of a degree to hit populated areas inside japan so he literally played russian roulette with their lives

I see people say assassinate "oh just assassinate him" like they are playing a mission in call of duty. Assassinating a head of state would not only create a political shite storm, it would also be impossible to carry out in NK. You really want to start a war try to kill him and fail.

Not just no but frick no!
N. Koreans have to earn their freedom just like every other free country or theyll never appreciate it and in fact resent us for giving it to them like every other freedom-welfare country.
N. Koreans have to man up and fight for freedom. You get the government you deserve. If they want it bad enough theyll have it.
Dont give me none of that, "the people dont have guns and bombs and shite", excuse either. What is the Dear Leader going to do? Kill ALL the citizens? Whats a King without a Kingdom?

For NK to have a nuclear ICBM capability doesn't mean they plan to use it. That would be suicidal for them and also for anyone living in Seoul.
The more likely threat is that they'd sell missiles to the highest bidder. They desperately need the cash and there are quite a few non-nuclear nations that might want to take them up on it. Maybe even some "non-state actors". They could do this and nobody would likely know until the deal is done.
